Luggage Porter

 

Our Luggage Porters must be passionate about hospitality and delivering amazing service to our guests with a smile and personality.

  • Greet and escort guests to rooms.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property.
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities. Identify and explain room features to.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.

Linen Porter

 

Seasonal Full Time with the potential for further employment through the Winter months

  • Collecting, counting, bagging and recording linen
  • Dealing with deliveries.
  • You’ll have an eye for detail
  • You take pride in your work and will enjoy being busy
  • This is a physical role and you’ll have to cope with the demands that the      role of Linen Porter.
  • Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role but we will be happy to speak to you even if you have no experience at all as full training will be given

Overnight Cleaner

 

As an Overnight Cleaner you will be part of the team that is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness in our guest bedrooms and the public areas of the hotel. You must have excellent attention to detail with high levels of motivation and the ability to work in an efficient and organised manner.

Public Area Cleaners have just as much interaction with our guests as any other staff member – so must be passionate about hospitality and delivering amazing service to our guests with a smile and personality.

  • Ensuring all public areas and back of house areas are be kept to the highest standards of cleanliness

Conference & Banqueting Assistant

 

  • Provide a warm welcome to guests, building rapport and generally taking care of their needs to create a memorable experience.
  • Lead by example to meet and exceed the already high standards of customer care when serving.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the menu and confidently converse with customers.
  • Upselling at every given opportunity.
  • Ability to deal with customer issues calmly and in a professional timely manner.
  • Setting and clearing tables.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of work areas.
  • Taking orders for, preparing and delivering room service orders.
  • Support the team with beverage preparation and waiting tables.
  • Support with other duties such as cash handling when required.

We are currently looking for an experienced Chef for our 5 star boutique hotel. You will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen, the successful Chef must be hands on and lead by example demonstrating the ability to support the Head Chef in motivating the team. You will also have strong leadership skills, high standards and good knowledge producing fresh food using fresh produce.

  • Previous experience in a similar establishment preferred
  • Strong passion for food
  • Have excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work
